More Random Fun (Or Not) Stuff

Because putting together a post is too much work..

Been hitting the library a lot lately. Trying to catch up on books and movies. Fell in love with all of the pretty people in House of Flying Daggers. So pretty.
Been working on getting a decent faux glow with various self tanners. Finally settled on Banana Boat's Every Day Glow. It's very realistic looking.

I've also been dealing with some sort of weird bug. I loathe summer colds.
I'm enjoying some time off (finally) after working like a dog. Banshee's been kissing my ass so much that I'm having trouble removing the lipstick stains.
I've been trying very hard to not melt. So damn hot.
And sleep too much. I think I'm turning into a narcoleptic. Any time I sit too long, I wake up fifteen minutes later because a kid, or my father, is whining.
I'm slightly panicked because I still do not have everything I need for my vacation in two weeks time. Things like: a swim suit, beach cover-up, sunblock.. You know, the little things.
Feeling slightly guilty because I watched my father eat somehting he's morally opposed to-- he didn't realize he was eating it-- because it was easier to do that-- and whisper about it to my mom-- than to listen to him rant and rave about it. But only slightly guilty and I'm sure I'll get over it rather- Oooh.. Shiny!
Bought these rather fabulous gladiator sandals really cheaply at work only to be punished-- painfully-- by them when walking from one room to the next. Quickly returned them and mourned their departure. Once you hit 30, fashion isn't about pain.
Totally ticked off that gold and gas and state sale's tax has gone up. Makes my job so much more difficult.

Michelle- Afraid not. Just the typical Jersey shore vacation. I'll be the still quite pale, but not glaringly white girl under a large umbrella, with a beach cover-up and a hat and sunblock with the highest SPF available on. I'm looking forward to it.
